BEFORE GETTING STARTED IN ANY CROSSFIT PROGRAM
Beware of any CrossFit facility that let’s beginners just jump into class. It isn’t safe for them and it isn’t safe for you.
If you don’t have a background with CrossFit it is essential that you learn the basic movements before joining regular classes. The On-Ramp program at MKG is normally a 6-class introductory series designed to acclimate new members into our regular CrossFit group classes and teach the CrossFit and MKG concept itself.
Some potential members simply can’t restructure their schedules for regular On-Ramp times. That’s why we’ve created this compressed, 1-on-1, 3 lesson private On-Ramp.
Each session includes a warm-up, skill instruction/review, light workout, and stretching / mobility cool down. Over the 3 lessons you’ll experience the different styles of CrossFit workout, the proper form for the major barbell exercises, safety protocols and get into a routine. At the end you’ll know without a doubt if CrossFit is for you.
