Professor Salem is a full instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto and one of the most respected instructors and practitioners of Savate in the world. Savate is a diverse art that focuses on using the feet much in the way that western boxing uses its hands. In two days Salem will be going over the basics of Savate, some of the history, footwork and combinations. Salem will also be holding a test on Sunday morning for those who would like to attempt Glove Grading. Stop by the office for more information.

John Will is one of the BJJ Dirty Dozen - the first twelve Non-Brazilian BJJ Black Belts in the world. He was awarded the rank of Black Belt by Rigan and Jean Jacques Machado in 1998. An accomplished martial artist with training in several arts, he now travels the world conducting BJJ seminars.

For the seminar at MKG, we are going to have John teach a blend of Reality Based Training (RBT) and General Striking. This is going to draw from his extensive Shootfighting background.

LESKAS - Seattle, a local LSAI school will be bringing Master Jon Escudero to Seattle, and using our space to host his seminar on Focused Aggression and Bursting.  This will be a great seminar for anyone looking to work on their Filipino Weaponry skills.

Ajarn Greg Nelson is one of the top trainers in the world and coach to Sean Sherk, Brock Lesnar, Nat MacIntyre and other champions. Ajarn Greg will be in Seattle for UFC 128 to corner one of his fighters, and he is going to make time to teach a seminar for us at MKG Martial Arts!  Ajarn Greg is among the elite level of martial artists in the Jeet Kune Do community. His list of martial arts credentials is extensive, including instructorships under Guro Dan Inosanto, Ajarn Chai Sirisute, Sensei Erik Paulson & Prof. Pedro Sauer.  The seminar will be suitable for students of all levels, covering Muay Thai, and MMA. There will also be an emphasis on fighter training, but again, this is open to all levels so please join us!  $65 per person for the seminar.
