Learn some great Muay Thai and support a great effort. We’ll be pulling out some cool elbowing and knee combinations taught to us by Ajarn Chai for this event.
MKG Seattle, other MKG branches and Bellevue, West Seattle and Issaquah, WA based WTBA Muay Thai schools will all be participating in this event.
Since 1968, our instructor, Grandmaster Chai Sirisute has worked tirelessly to promote and spread Muay Thai around the world. He has traveled or taught seminars 45 out of 52 weekends for nearly 50 years without a break.
He needs some time off to rest and a few surgeries to repair years of wear and tear.
It’s time for us to give back!
Join us and a growing number of other World Thai Boxing Association schools around the globe on October 16th, Teachers Day, as we raise funds for the WTBA and/or Ajarn Sirisute to take time off for much needed surgery on his knee.
Each participating WTBA affiliated school will teach a 2-3 hour Muay Thai seminar appropriate for students of all levels and 100% of revenue generated will be given directly to the WTBA or Grandmaster Chai.
Minimum donation is $40 and must be done online for accounting purposes. If you can’t attend but would like to donate just purchase the seminar and let us know you won’t be attending.
Member’s of MKG Martial Arts, Seattle Integrated Martial Arts, NAK2 Academy and United Source are all highly encouraged and welcome to train at each others schools for this event.
